Quality: I selected Argentium or non-tarnishing silver which has a higher silver content than traditional sterling silver. This has tarnish inhibiting properties and should stay nice and shiny for the life of the item. The outside dimensions of the pendant are approximately 15mm x 15mm. Snowflake Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass containing the mineral Cristobalite in the form of white "snowflake" crystal patterns. The chain loop will accommodate chains up to 3mm in diameter.
Artist's Choice: The 10 mm in diameter ball that is suspended in the center of the pendant is a snowflake obsidian and it spins on it's axis of silver that is fused in place. A stone of purity, Snowflake Obsidian provides balance for body, mind and spirit.
Design Inspiration: You will enjoy the movement in this piece as it orbits, just like the earth as you wear it, changing the view of patterns of the stone as it moves. The white and black pattern on this stone is curious, unusual, and this pendant is often a conversation piece.
The pendant comes with a 16" or an 18" snake chain.
