What makes this necklace so special? The handmade chain!
For this necklace, I started with a solid bar of 100% recycled sterling silver. I rolled the bar into a long thin wire and then drew it through a plate until it was the size I needed. Next I soldered the wire into circles, then twisted these into handmade links. A very lengthy process, but the result is well worth it.
The center of the chain is a recycled sterling silver sapphire coin pendant which contains one .25ct (4mm) deep blue sapphire.
At the back of the necklace I attached a lobster clasp and five extra jump rings so the necklace can be shortened or lengthened.
A great accessory for any outfit. Dress it up or dress it down, it will be happy going out on the town with you, or just for coffee, and sure to be a conversation piece.
